General Chairman of the Indonesian Cyber Media Association (SMSI), Firdaus, accompanied by Secretary General Makali Kumar, led a strategic meeting with the central executive board in Jakarta on Friday (12/06/2026). The agenda focused on mapping the national political constellation and its impact on the sustainability of the cyber press industry in the country.
During the briefing session, Firdaus thoroughly analyzed political influence networks, spanning global geopolitics to the movements of key national figures. This analysis was presented using diagrammatic visualizations to provide a comprehensive overview for SMSI regional leaders, enabling them to better navigate information flows in their respective regions.
Firdaus emphasized that cyber media under the SMSI banner must be capable of transforming into objective and trusted catalysts of information. He urged media owners and journalists to maintain high sensitivity toward strategic issues, given that today's media landscape demands strong professionalism and independence.
This meeting represents a tactical move by the organization in response to increasingly complex national dynamics.
