A festive atmosphere enfolded the Youth Center Field of GOR Rawang, Pariaman City, on Saturday night (7/4/2026). Thousands of residents flooded the location to watch the climax of Pariaman City's 24th Anniversary celebration, which featured two stars of Minang music, Fauzana and Buset.

The presence of these famous musicians was the main magnet for locals who longed for quality entertainment. Nurmi Permata Sari, one of the attendees, expressed great enthusiasm. For her, the event was not just free entertainment, but a space of appreciation for regional artists that she hopes will continue to be held annually.

In his speech, Mayor of Pariaman, Yota Balad, emphasized that the momentum of the city's anniversary belongs to all elements of society. He invited the public to continue synergizing with the government, Forkopimda, and the business sector to achieve the vision of a more progressive and great Pariaman City.

"Building a city cannot be done solely by the government; it requires support and collective collaboration from all elements of society. In line with the motto Sabiduak Sadayung, let us move quickly toward a more advanced Pariaman," said Yota Balad in front of thousands of residents.

Yota Balad also outlined infrastructure development targets in the GOR Rawang area that will be realized in the near future. He reiterated his commitment alongside Deputy Mayor Mulyadi to complete various flagship programs, including physical developments such as a soccer field and swimming pool, as well as other non-physical programs during the remainder of their leadership term.
