Territorial personnel from Koramil 405-13/Dempo Selatan, Kodim 0405/Lahat, continue to strengthen synergy with the community to create a conducive security situation. One such effort is carried out by Corporal (Koptu) Anton, who routinely visits residents guarding the neighborhood security unit (Satkamling) post in Penjalang Village, Dempo Selatan District, Pagaralam City.
Commander of Koramil 405-13/Dempo Selatan, Infantry Captain Hendro Purnomo, explained that these visits are a preventive measure to monitor the public order and security situation in the fostered area. According to him, extra night supervision is crucial to minimize opportunities for crime that could threaten residents' comfort while resting.
"Our presence among the residents during night watch aims to provide a sense of security while motivating the community to remain vigilant. This synergy between the TNI and the people is an important foundation in creating orderly and safe environmental stability," said Infantry Captain Hendro Purnomo on Thursday (July 9, 2026).
On the other hand, Commander of Kodim 0405/Lahat, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel David Jihandika Henry Wijayanto, represented by Territorial Officer Captain CKE Yuliansyah, expressed appreciation for the active participation of residents in night watch activities. This collaboration is seen as tangible proof of the TNI's unity with the community in performing security mitigation functions in residential areas.
These periodic supervision activities are expected to reduce crime rates at the village level. The TNI remains committed to providing the best service so that the community feels protected, both when carrying out daily activities and while resting at night.
