TERNATE - The Regional Secretary of Ternate City, Dr. Rizal Marsaoly, directly led the morning assembly for the "Wednesday Greeting" program held in the courtyard of the Ternate City Health Office on Wednesday (22/7/2026). On this occasion, Rizal outlined several strategic directives to boost the quality of health services for all segments of society in the region.
In front of the office leadership, civil servants (ASN), heads of community health centers (Puskesmas), and attending medical personnel, Rizal emphasized that the quality of public services depends heavily on internal organizational solidarity. He urged the entire Health Office team to prioritize teamwork and strengthen consolidation to ensure the success of regional health programs, so their impact can be felt directly by the community.
Rizal also highlighted the crucial role of Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) as the front line of local government health services. According to him, Puskesmas represent the face of the Ternate City Government, meaning their service quality must always be fast, accurate, and friendly when welcoming every citizen.
Furthermore, the Ternate Regional Secretary instructed medical personnel not to be passive by merely waiting for patients at health facilities. He encouraged concrete field action through a proactive outreach ("jemput bola") method, ranging from environmental sanitation monitoring and Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) education to early mapping of infectious disease risks in residential areas to sustainably maintain public health standards.
