The Sub-district Government of Kresek, Tangerang Regency, has officially invited all high school and equivalent students in the area to actively participate in the 2026 Kresek Sub-district Sports Week (PORCAM). This sporting event is being held to commemorate the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Head of Kresek Sub-district, Eka Fathussidiki, S.STP, revealed that this competition is not just about winning titles, but is also a strategic tool to foster positive character in the younger generation. Through this event, he hopes that the values of sportsmanship, togetherness, and unity will be deeply instilled in students, while also serving as a platform to scout for talented local athletes.
There are four sports branches (cabor) to be contested: football, futsal, volleyball, and badminton. The tournament is open exclusively to students who reside or study in the Kresek Sub-district, with the requirement of submitting administrative documents in the form of a photocopy of a student ID card or an official reference letter from the school.
The matches are scheduled to take place over two consecutive days in early August 2026. The football and futsal competitions will be held simultaneously on August 6, 2026, at the Kresek Sub-district Mini Stadium and the Jaer Futsal Field in Soge Pasir Hamlet, Talok Village, respectively.
Meanwhile, the volleyball and badminton branches will be held the following day on August 7, 2026, at the Kresek Sub-district Sports Hall (GOR). The organizing committee emphasized that registration is free of charge, with the condition that each team must complete all administrative requirements before the registration period closes.
