The 129th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program, initiated by the 0813 Bojonegoro Military District Command, does not only target physical infrastructure development. TNI soldiers also demonstrated tangible social concern by providing free health services directly to communities in remote areas.
Located on the terrace of the Kesongo Village Hall, Kedungadem Subdistrict, Bojonegoro Regency, the atmosphere felt different on Saturday (1/8/2026). The area was transformed into a warm emergency health check post, where local residents, especially mothers, enthusiastically gathered to have their physical health checked.
This free medical check-up service was led directly by Private First Class (Praka) Andi Aprianto from the Bojonegoro 05.09.14 Health Clinic (Polkes) along with personnel of the TMMD Task Force. The medical team meticulously checked blood pressure, provided health consultations, and distributed medicines and vitamin supplements free of charge.
Praka Andi Aprianto explained that this TMMD program aims to address aspects of community welfare comprehensively, not limited to just building roads or bridges. According to him, public health is a main pillar supporting the success of development at the village level.
This initiative received a positive response from the local community, who felt greatly assisted given the limited access to formal health service centers from their village. In addition to receiving medical treatment, residents also received education on the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and implementing a healthy daily lifestyle.
