A total of 105 health cadres from 15 Posyandu operating in the Lanjas Urban Village area, North Barito Regency, attended an intensive training program on Thursday (9/7/2026). The activity, which took place in the Teweh Tengah District hall, aimed to equip the cadres with the latest knowledge to improve the quality of basic health services at the sub-district level.

Acting Head of Lanjas Urban Village, Nurfadillah, stated that this initiative is a tangible implementation of the community empowerment program based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 13 of 2024. Through this training, the capacity of cadres is expected to increase so that they can make a more optimal contribution to the health of local residents.

On that occasion, Nurfadillah also clarified the delay in distributing Posyandu supporting equipment, such as weighing scales and health measurement tools. The village administration assured that the procurement of the equipment had been carried out, but faced delays in the shipping process. In addition, the village administration continues to push for the fulfillment of operational needs through recess aspirations of regional parliament (DPRD) members to facilitate services in the field.

Both the urban village and district officials voiced the importance of local government attention to the welfare of the cadres. Considering their vital role as the spearhead of healthcare, providing incentives is considered a deserving step of appreciation for their dedication and sincerity over the years.

Acting District Head of Teweh Tengah, Dudy Bagus Prasetyo, expressed high appreciation for the cadres' dedication. He also took the opportunity to urge parents to tighten supervision of their children, especially teenagers, to protect them from various negative environmental influences.
