Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) held a strategic training session on product branding and packaging design for managers of the Vida Taman Apel Waste Bank, RW 019, Bekasi, on Saturday (20/6/2026). This community service initiative aims to transform processed waste into high-value economic commodities capable of competing in the modern market.

As an institution focused on creative digital development, UBSI recognizes that residents' recycled products actually possess good quality, but are often constrained by visual and marketing aspects. Through this training, participants were equipped with practical knowledge on the importance of brand identity, typography selection, and color composition to attract consumer interest.

The material was delivered by practitioner Ana Ramadhayanti, who interactively guided participants in designing logo sketches and product packaging. Organizing Committee Chair Haryani emphasized that mastering branding techniques is key so that products created by the waste bank are not merely seen as second-hand goods, but as functional and professional products.

Head of the Vida Taman Apel Waste Bank, Nia Kurniasih, welcomed this collaboration as it delivers a tangible impact on members' skills. Echoing this sentiment, RW 019 Chair Bambang Sulistio expressed full appreciation, highlighting that the synergy between environmental education and creative economic empowerment serves as a strategic step to improve the welfare of local residents.
