The Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area is now expanding its role beyond being a culinary and lifestyle hub, transforming into an integrated outdoor sports destination. This initiative aims to provide convenience for the public to access various fitness facilities within a single interconnected zone, ensuring visitors do not need to travel far to move between sports locations.
Management at PIK 2 officially stated that the presence of the PIK Sport Complex is a strategic step to create a more dynamic and healthy weekend experience. Through these facilities, visitors can choose from a variety of physical activities tailored to their preferences, ranging from casual sports to adrenaline-pumping activities.
For light sports enthusiasts, the area provides a shaded jogging track in the Greenbelt Orange Groves area as well as a path in the Jalasena section of By The Sea PIK, featuring ocean views as its main attraction. These options have become favorites for residents seeking a natural environment amid urban hustle.
Meanwhile, for community and competitive sports fans, Beach Padel courts at Land's End are available via the AYO app, along with a Beach Volleyball area. More varied sports facilities are also available, such as Pickleball at Batavia PIK, open-water kayaking with Laut Luas Adventure at Cove at PIK, and Surf Padel facilities at Orange Groves, completing the healthy lifestyle ecosystem in the region.
