Local football tournaments are considered to play an important role in boosting the community's economy while serving as a healthy form of entertainment. This was emphasized by the Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, while attending the final match of the Maung Cup 3 Open Football Tournament held at the IMK Curug Sari Field, Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency.
Andra Soni expressed his joy at being able to mingle with thousands of residents who packed the match area. The regular staging of the competition is expected to scout and nurture future professional football prospects directly from the Jawilan District and surrounding areas.
