A warm and friendly atmosphere filled the Banggai Islands Police Headquarters courtyard on Friday (6/26/2026), as local police personnel hosted a series of joint sports activities to welcome the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebration. The event served as a strategic platform to strengthen inter-agency relationships in the region.
Several key local officials attended the event, ranging from the Regional Secretary of Banggai Islands Regency to members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda). Additionally, heads of regional government agencies—including the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Community and Village Empowerment Agency, BPBD, and Tourism Agency—mingled with police personnel in a spirit of togetherness.
The series of activities began with a fun walk around the police headquarters, followed by an energetic Zumba session. Sweat and laughter adorned the participants' faces, reflecting high enthusiasm for maintaining physical fitness while strengthening inter-institutional solidarity.
Banggai Islands Police Chief, AKBP Ronaldus Karurukan, S.I.K., emphasized that this momentum was not merely about physical activity, but an effort to build stronger synergy between the National Police (Polri) and the local government. For him, inter-agency solidity is the primary foundation for optimizing public service and maintaining order in the Banggai Islands community.
As an eagerly awaited closing, the organizing committee distributed a number of door prizes to lucky participants. These prizes added to the excitement of the event while serving as a token of appreciation for all parties committed to continuous collaboration in supporting regional security.
