The management of Persebaya Surabaya has officially released Gali Freitas to join Madura United on a loan deal. This step was taken as part of the Bajul Ijo squad building strategy ahead of the fierce competition in the 2026/2027 Super League season.
The decision was announced directly by the club via their official social media channels on Sunday (6/7/2026) evening. In their written statement, Persebaya management expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and contribution shown by the Timor Leste player during his time with the team in the 2025/2026 season.
"Persebaya thanks Gali Freitas for his togetherness, dedication, and effort over the past season. We wish him all the best for his future career journey," read the club's official statement.
