PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) has taken a strategic step in reorganizing its business portfolio through an internal affiliate transaction. The company decided to transfer the business unit and all rights to the Loops and Lamina trademarks from PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL) to PT Teletama Artha Mandiri (TAM).
The agreement, signed on July 3, 2026, is valued at IDR 50.5 billion. Given that both parties are under the control of the same Erajaya Group, this step is administratively classified as an affiliated transaction in accordance with prevailing capital market regulations.
Erajaya's management revealed that this move aims to optimize the brand development potential. Loops, known for gadget accessory products like data cables and power banks, and Lamina, which focuses on electronic device protectors, will be integrated into the distribution ecosystem of PT Teletama Artha Mandiri. The logistical infrastructure and retail network owned by TAM are deemed capable of aggressively boosting the market penetration of both brands.
On the other hand, for PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL), this divestment allows the company to refocus on its core business lines, namely active lifestyle, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and automotive support products. By shedding this accessory line, ERAL can concentrate resources on developing their core businesses.
From a financial perspective, this transaction brings no change to the consolidated total assets of the Erajaya Group, as the entire process took place within the same corporate group. However, there is a shift in the position of the financial statements of each entity: PT Sinar Eka Selaras receives a fresh cash injection, while PT Teletama Artha Mandiri strengthens its asset structure through the addition of intangible assets in the form of trademark rights.
This restructuring step underscores Erajaya Group's commitment to creating specialized roles for each of its subsidiaries. By aligning operational functions, the company hopes to achieve better efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of each brand amid fierce competition in the technology device market.
