PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) has reaffirmed its commitment to adopting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles as a primary pillar in its business operations. This step is not merely about regulatory compliance, but rather part of a long-term strategy to establish an environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial ecosystem in Central Sulawesi.
Spanning an area of 4,000 hectares in Morowali Regency, this integrated nickel industrial zone continues its efforts to build a production system that is not only economically efficient but also minimizes environmental impact through the concept of a circular economy. These efforts are expected to support the acceleration of the national green energy transition.
PT IMIP Deputy Director of Operations, Yulius Susanto, revealed that the implementation of the ESG framework has been thoroughly applied since 2024. This implementation is carried out to ensure corporate governance that is transparent, responsible, and highly accountable in every aspect of its operations.
