Associate Professor Vu Viet Vu, Head of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communications at CMC University, emphasized that AI is not a threat, but rather a supporting tool that expands industry horizons.

Almost all vital sectors, from banking and manufacturing to smart city development, now rely on digital infrastructure as their operational backbone. As a result, the demand for competent IT professionals continues to rise alongside the accelerating digital transformation worldwide.

However, an academic degree alone is no longer considered sufficient to win in the job market. Aspiring young professionals are required to possess high adaptability, foreign language proficiency, and strong teamwork skills. A solid academic foundation, particularly in mathematics and science, remains an absolute requirement for those wishing to enter Software Engineering or Cybersecurity.

Universities are now integrating AI-assisted systems into teaching methods to enhance learning effectiveness. This initiative aims to encourage students to be more proactive and accustomed to interacting with technologies they will encounter in the workforce. CMC University itself reported a significant increase in its new student enrollment targets in response to high industry demand.
