PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is undergoing a paradigm shift in toll road management in Indonesia. The company is no longer solely focusing on physical construction, but is moving towards the concept of 'infraculture,' placing safety and user experience as top priorities within the transportation ecosystem.
Jasa Marga President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, explained that this change aims to meet increasingly dynamic public expectations. The initiative is realized through strengthening technology-based services, ranging from Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicle monitoring systems to the optimization of the Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) as an integrated operational control center.
In addition to the control system, Jasa Marga continues to expand the use of the Travoy application as a digital ecosystem to assist road users. The company is also rejuvenating various rest areas, transforming them from mere stopover locations into tourist destinations offering added value for drivers along toll routes.
To reinforce this strategy, Jasa Marga held an expert sharing session with transportation experts and business practitioners in Bekasi. This step underlines the company's commitment to continuous innovation in creating smart and sustainable connectivity for approximately 3.5 million vehicles passing through daily.
