The 10th Hung Yen Provincial Sports Festival officially kicked off its pickleball branch, drawing high enthusiasm from local sports enthusiasts. This prestigious event features over 230 athletes divided into 18 representative groups from across the province, including active participation from the Police and Military sectors.

In this tournament, participants will compete for championship titles in three main categories: men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. To ensure fair competition, the organizing committee categorized the age groups into six divisions, ranging from the under-15 youth category to the 51–60 age group.

More than just a showcase of skills, this tournament serves as a strategic instrument for the local government to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage physical training among the general public. Additionally, the event functions as a talent scouting platform to select high-potential athletes who will later be developed for higher levels of competition.

Shortly after the opening ceremony, sportsmanship was immediately on display on the court through a series of fierce and tactical matches. The entire series of pickleball competitions at the 10th Hung Yen Provincial Sports Festival is scheduled to run until the closing ceremony on July 10.
