The series of events celebrating the 80th Bhayangkara Day in Sinjai Regency officially concluded with the closing of the Bhayangkara Cup 2026 basketball tournament and the MSME Expo Bazaar. The lively closing ceremony was led directly by the Vice Regent of Sinjai, Andi Mahyanto Mazda, at the Semi-Indoor Basketball Court, North Sinjai District, on Sunday (26/7/2026) evening.
The excitement of the peak night was attended by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Sinjai Police department, heads of Regional Government Agencies (OPD), the Chairperson of the Sinjai Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP-PKK), and hundreds of local residents. The excitement reached its peak during the fierce final match between the Bhayangkara Team and the Sinjai Hospital Team, which ended with the Bhayangkara Team emerging as the champions.
In his speech, Vice Regent Andi Mahyanto Mazda expressed his deep appreciation to the Sinjai Police and all parties involved. He noted that integrating a sports competition with an MSME exhibition aligns perfectly with the theme of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, "80 Years of Service, Police for the Community," bringing a direct positive impact to the public.
Andi Mahyanto emphasized that this event holds a dual strategic value. In addition to being a platform for mentoring the younger generation to hone their athletic talents and uphold sportsmanship from an early age, the presence of MSME booths around the venue also serves as an effective driver of the people's economy through the promotion of local products.
