Concrete initiatives to preserve traditional sports and local culture continue to be promoted in Indragiri Hulu (Inhu) Regency. Most recently, the Chairman of the Inhu DPRD, Sabtu Pradansyah Sinurat, officially handed over aid to support the event titled "Pagi Bapacu Malam Bagasing".
This aid was handed over directly to the organizing committee of the event, which is centered in the Tepian Kuala area, Redang Village, Rengat District. This step is a concrete manifestation of the legislative institution's commitment to keeping local cultural heritage alive in the community.
The "Pagi Bapacu Malam Bagasing" event itself is not only a platform for traditional sports competitions, but also a space for community gathering for local residents as well as an effort to strengthen the unique cultural identity of Indragiri Hulu.
