The Piyungan Sector Police (Polsek) along with Community Police Officers (Bhabinkamtibmas) in the Bantul Regency area continue their efforts to strengthen cross-sectoral synergy to maintain a conducive public order and security (kamtibmas) situation. One of the concrete steps taken is through active participation in joint sports activities and various social community agendas.
The Chief of Piyungan Police directly led his officers to mingle with partner agencies and community elements during the joint sports event. This agenda was designed not only to maintain the physical fitness of the personnel, but also to serve as an effective informal communication space to mitigate potential security disturbances within the Piyungan jurisdiction.
In line with these efforts, Bhabinkamtibmas personnel at the sub-district (kalurahan) level are also intensifying their presence among residents. In Ringinharjo sub-district, Bhabinkamtibmas Aipda Andri Sudaryanto attended a program focused on eradicating social ills and community development. Meanwhile, in Palbapang sub-district, Aipda Sutejo Pramono actively participated in various community assistance activities to ensure that local programs run safely and orderly.
This collaborative step underscores the commitment of the Bantul Regency Police (Polres) in implementing a humanist approach to create safe public spaces. By strengthening the coordination network with sub-district governments and community figures, the police hope this cooperation can become a solid foundation in anticipating all forms of social vulnerability from an early stage.
