The Tegal Regency Police (Polres Tegal) synergized with joint officers to secure the 2026 Moci Festival held at Hanggawana Slawi Square, Tegal Regency, on Saturday (25/7/2026). This integrated security measure was taken to provide a sense of safety for thousands of residents who enthusiastically attended the annual cultural event.

This tight security involved cross-sector collaboration, starting from the Sector Police (Polsek), TNI, Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), Transportation Agency, to medical personnel and local organizers. Officers were strategically deployed at crowd-prone points, including the main entrance, the entertainment stage area, parking lots, and along the traffic routes around the festival location.

The 2026 Moci Festival is not only a popular entertainment event but also showcases products of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), typical culinary delights of Tegal, and local art performances. The extra security is expected to support the smooth running of the entire series of events so that the public can enjoy the festivities without worry.

The Chief of Tegal Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant (AKBP) Bayu Prasatyo, emphasized his party's commitment to maintaining a conducive situation during the event. According to him, this festival plays a crucial role in boosting the regional economy while preserving Tegal's unique tea-drinking tradition, known as the "moci" culture.

Furthermore, AKBP Bayu Prasatyo expressed his appreciation to all elements of the community and officers who participated in maintaining order. He also urged visitors to always follow the instructions of officers in the field for mutual safety during the festival.
