PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has once again reinforced its position as the backbone of the national economy. Under Danantara's supervision, the state-owned bank successfully recorded an impressive financial performance throughout 2025, which served as a solid foundation for contributing the largest dividend in the company's history.

At the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), BRI officially approved a total cash dividend of IDR 52.1 trillion, equivalent to IDR 346 per share. This fantastic figure refers to the net profit achievement for the 2025 financial year, which reached IDR 57.13 trillion. President Director of BRI, Hery Gunardi, stated that this achievement is the fruit of the successful 'BRIVolution Reignite' transformation strategy, which focuses on strengthening funding structure and service digitalization.

Positive momentum continued into the first quarter of 2026. The company recorded net profit growth of 13.7% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 15.5 trillion. Funding efficiency also showed a positive trend, where the Cost of Fund (CoF) was successfully reduced to 2.3% thanks to CASA growth supported by digital ecosystems such as the BRImo application and the Qlola platform.

BRI's role in supporting strategic government programs is also increasingly evident. As of May 2026, the disbursement of Micro Business Loans (KUR) reached IDR 84.36 trillion, with a main focus on productive and agricultural sectors. In addition, the commitment to public housing access was demonstrated through the disbursement of Property Ownership Loans (KPP) worth IDR 9.5 trillion, the allocation of which has now been increased to IDR 12 trillion to meet high public demand.

COO of Danantara and Head of the SOE Regulatory Agency, Dony Oskaria, appreciated the positive performance of Himbara banking. According to him, the synergy built today is a crucial pillar in driving downstreaming of natural resources, infrastructure development, and MSME empowerment. With a business foundation that is now more diversified through the contribution of subsidiaries reaching 25.1% of total consolidated profit, BRI is optimistic about maintaining sustainable growth while providing added value for all stakeholders.
