The recruitment and appointment of officials within the Gunung Mas Regency Government received a positive response, especially regarding female representation. Member of the Gunung Mas Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Karolina, publicly expressed her support for the inauguration of two female subdistrict heads who now lead Kurun and Tewah Subdistricts.
The two female figures entrusted with these new roles are Rosalia as Camat of Kurun and Evelnie as Camat of Tewah. According to Karolina, this appointment is an important milestone proving that gender does not limit a person's ability to lead a government administrative region.
The Democratic Party politician emphasized that effective leadership is judged by competence, integrity, and dedication, rather than gender differences. The presence of female leaders at the subdistrict level is expected to bring a public service approach that is more responsive to community needs and serve as an inspiration for other women.
Karolina also encouraged the two female subdistrict heads to immediately adapt to their new working environments. She stressed the importance of building synergy and harmonious communication with village officials, traditional leaders, and all community elements to ensure the success of inclusive regional development programs.
In addition, appreciation was also expressed to former officials for their dedication, such as Hendra Surya, who has now transitioned to Secretary of the Department of Community and Village Empowerment (DPMD), and Berjoaldi, who is now entrusted to lead Miri Manasa Subdistrict.
This bureaucratic revitalization step is part of a mass inauguration led by the Regent of Gunung Mas, Jaya Samaya Monong. A total of 145 structural officials within the local government took their oaths of office, including subdistrict heads, department secretaries, division heads, urban village heads (lurah), and sub-district section heads.
