The rapid development of the trade, e-commerce, and commodity sectors in South Kalimantan (Kalsel) has triggered a surge in demand for modern warehousing facilities. The province now plays a vital role as the main distribution gateway for the central and southern regions of Kalimantan, while also serving as a buffer logistics corridor for the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

This trend has been positively received by commercial property developers offering integrated warehousing areas. Throughout the first semester of 2026, sales of warehousing units recorded significant growth compared to the previous period, reflecting high business confidence in the investment climate within this corridor.

Project Manager of Bizpark Commercial Estate Banjarmasin, Sigit Amin Andryan, explained that current business dynamics demand high supply chain efficiency. According to him, business actors are now very selective in choosing operational spaces, emphasizing legal compliance, security, and connectivity to main transport infrastructure.

To accommodate diverse market needs, the Bizpark area provides various property options ranging from storage shops, ready-to-use warehouses of various sizes, to ready-to-build land plots. Land plots are marketed starting from 500 square meters at Rp3.3 million per square meter, while building units are offered starting from around Rp990 million.

This integrated industrial estate offers security guarantees through a one-gate system, 24-hour CCTV surveillance, as well as flood-free supporting facilities and green open spaces. Its strategic location also facilitates distribution access to Trisakti Port and Syamsudin Noor Airport, making it a magnet for logistics, automotive, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies.
