Police officers from the Kuta Utara Police Sector stepped up surveillance in the Batu Bolong Beach tourist area, Canggu Village, by conducting a dawn patrol on Friday (3/7/2026). This preventive measure was taken in response to high visitor activity in nightlife centers in the early morning hours.

Led by Duty Officer Inspector AA Gede Ari Dwipayana, a Small Complete Unit team collaborating with the Badung Police Patrol Unit combed through several strategic points. The operation focused not only on securing the local environment, but also aimed to anticipate potential crime targeting tourists leaving nightlife venues.

Kuta Utara Police Chief, Police Commissioner I Ketut Sukadana, stated that the presence of personnel on the ground is crucial to ensuring a sense of security for visitors. In addition to maintaining security, officers on the ground also managed traffic flow along Batu Bolong Road to prevent jams and reduce accident risks as visitors headed home.

Furthermore, the police urged tourists to remain vigilant regarding their personal belongings to minimize opportunities for criminal perpetrators. Police Commissioner Sukadana emphasized that these routine patrols will continue to be optimized as part of the commitment to maintaining a safe environment in the Kuta Utara tourist area.
