The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, has provided a firm clarification regarding circulating rumors about his alleged involvement in the business of Cafe de'Clan, located in Cipete, South Jakarta. The location was previously one of the targets of a police search.
In his official statement at the Attorney General's Office, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/7/2026), Febrie straightforwardly stated that he has no affiliation or business connection with the establishment, which has recently been widely discussed on social media. He urged the public to be wiser in filtering information and to stick to valid legal facts while the investigation is ongoing.
Febrie added that the handling of any major case is naturally bound to attract public attention. However, he emphasized the importance of maintaining the dignity of law enforcement by giving law enforcement officials the space to work in accordance with prevailing legal procedures and mechanisms.
For information, Cafe de'Clan is recorded as one of 13 locations searched by Police investigators in connection with the investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) in the Asabri, PLN Blackout, and Krakatau Steel cases. During the search, police found a hidden safe behind a wardrobe containing cash in various foreign currencies, totaling Rp60 billion, along with several important documents and electronic devices.
