PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has made a strategic breakthrough by shifting its business focus from mere infrastructure growth to sustainable value creation. This corporate transformation is aligned with the vision of Danantara Indonesia to ensure that all toll road assets, services, and networks deliver a broader positive impact on society and the national economy.
President Director of Jasa Marga, Rivan A. Purwantono, explained that this step is an important pillar in strengthening the company's future competitiveness. He emphasized the importance of excellent governance, end-to-end digitalization, and continuous innovation by prioritizing toll road user satisfaction through customer-oriented service principles.
This shift in orientation has birthed a new paradigm called infraculture, or culture-based infrastructure. Through this concept, infrastructure development is no longer viewed merely as physical construction connecting regions, but as an integrated transportation ecosystem capable of driving the economy and enhancing the quality of public travel.
As the holder of a 42 percent market share of commercial toll roads in Indonesia, Jasa Marga currently manages 36 toll road concessions with a total length of 1,736 kilometers, of which 1,294 kilometers are actively operating. With a service volume reaching 3.5 million vehicles daily, this transformation is expected to further strengthen the state-owned enterprise's role as the backbone of national connectivity.
