PT Kaltim Daya Mandiri (KDM) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting community welfare by strengthening its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the health sector. The main focus this time targets efforts to accelerate stunting prevention in Bontang City with a more inclusive approach.

The unique strategy carried out by the company is to involve fathers as the front line in child-rearing. KDM realizes that stunting prevention is not only the mother's responsibility but also requires active collaboration between parents to ensure optimal child growth and development.

This initiative is implemented through cross-sector synergy, involving the Bontang City Health Office (Dinkes) and the local Community Health Centers (Puskesmas). By integrating health education into the CSR program, KDM hopes to change community parenting patterns and increase awareness of the importance of early nutritional intake.

Through this program, KDM not only acts as a provider of assistance but also as a catalyst in creating a healthy family environment in its operational areas. This concrete step is expected to significantly reduce stunting rates in Bontang through the collective involvement of the community.
