This was confirmed after the management of Maung Bandung officially signed Mariano Peralta to a two-year contract. The arrival of the Argentine winger was enthusiastically welcomed by his former Borneo FC teammate, Berguinho.
Peralta, who was named last season's Best Player, officially signed his contract with Persib on Sunday (19/7/2026). This strategic move by the management reunites the strong chemistry between him and Berguinho, who were previously key players in Pesut Etam's frontline.
Berguinho could not hide his joy at being back in the same team with someone he already considers a brother. The Brazilian attacking midfielder admitted he cannot wait to start training together to achieve the club's big targets in the new season.
