Welcoming the school holiday period, the popular tourist destination Dusun Bambu in Cisarua, West Bandung Regency, offers a unique experience for tourists through an art performance titled "Kabayan The Story of Jejak Bambu Ajaib". This performance adapts the West Javan folklore legend of Kabayan, artistically combining it with a variety of traditional dances from across the Archipelago, including Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali, to West Java's signature Jaipong.

Deputy General Manager of Dusun Bambu, Stefanus Sunaryo, revealed that this initiative is an effort to bring local cultural values closer to the younger generation. In addition to providing entertainment, the event serves as a platform for creative collaboration between the management and students of the Dance and Performance Art Study Program at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) to provide professional stage experience for young talents.

The one-hour performance is scheduled to take place every weekend, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, during the period of June 19 to July 12, 2026. The management is currently evaluating visitor enthusiasm before deciding whether to establish this performance as a regular weekly agenda in the future.

Attending visitors expressed appreciation for the combination of evening entertainment with fire attractions that enhanced the atmosphere's appeal. In addition to the main performance, Dusun Bambu has also expanded its holiday facilities by featuring a children's play area, Cepot puppet shows, reptile education, and a Mystical Forest attraction to ensure a memorable family holiday experience.

With an admission ticket price of IDR 40,000, tourists already receive various facilities such as shuttle services, welcome drinks, and lucky bamboo souvenir plants. The entire range of additional entertainment during the school holiday period can also be enjoyed by visitors at no extra charge.
