PT Ofero Technology Indonesia officially introduced its latest product, Carria 1, at the Jakarta Fair 2026 held in Kemayoran. This launch represents a strategic step for the company in responding to the high demand for eco-friendly transportation modes capable of supporting business productivity, ranging from MSMEs to large-scale logistics companies.
The arrival of Carria 1 is driven by the rapid growth momentum of Indonesia's digital economy sector. Citing data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) in 2024, the e-commerce transaction value exceeding IDR 1,288.93 trillion underscores the urgency for business operators to have efficient distribution and logistics systems to support the national target of digitalizing 30 million MSMEs.
Auditya Gunawan from Ofero Indonesia's Brand Department emphasized that Carria 1 is designed not merely as a means of transportation, but as a productivity-enhancing instrument. The primary focus of the vehicle's development is significant operational cost efficiency, with the company claiming it can reduce expenses by up to IDR 14.6 million per year compared to using gasoline-powered motorcycles for an operational intensity of 200 kilometers per day.
In terms of technical specifications, Carria 1 is equipped with a dual-battery system capable of traveling up to 130 kilometers on a single charge. Beyond battery durability, this vehicle excels in load capacity, reaching up to 200 kilograms, making it an ideal choice for field operations, goods delivery, and culinary commerce needs.
To ensure rider safety across various terrains, Ofero incorporated Traction Control System (TCS) technology. This feature provides crucial extra stability for couriers and field workers operating under diverse weather conditions and challenging road surfaces, while reinforcing the company's commitment to supporting sustainable mobility transformation in Indonesia.
