The Information Technology Study Program at Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) officially held a professional certification preparation workshop for final-year students. The event, which took place virtually on Wednesday (7/1/2026), was a strategic collaboration between the study program and the Professional Certification Body (LSP BSI) to prepare competent graduates for the technology industry.
Head of the UBSI Information Technology Study Program, Hendra Supendar, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of competency certification as a vital instrument in facing competition in the digital era. According to him, possessing an official certificate serves as tangible proof of students' technical skills while enhancing their profile in the eyes of industry recruiters.
As an institution with a vision as a Creative Digital Campus, UBSI continues to strive to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical needs in the workplace. This step was taken so that every graduate is not only theoretically superior but also possesses nationally recognized expertise in accordance with applicable industry standards.
Present as the speaker, Sri Muryani explained that the preparation material was aligned with the Indonesian National Working Competency Standards (SKKNI). Under the Program Analyst scheme, there are 10 competency units that students must master. Through an in-depth understanding of the material, students are expected to achieve a competent grade when taking the upcoming certification exam.
Furthermore, Sri Muryani expressed confidence that this certification is a crucial asset for students to unlock broader career opportunities. Equipped with verified skills, graduates are expected to compete optimally when pursuing careers as system analysts or program analysts at leading technology companies.
