PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) is once again participating in the prestigious automotive exhibition Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 at ICE BSD, Tangerang. At this year's exhibition, Isuzu is not just displaying its standard lineup, but is showcasing various commercial vehicle modifications specifically designed to support the productivity and business growth of its customers.
President Director of PT IAMI, Masayasu Hideshima, explained that the flexibility of Isuzu's fleet allows business operators to create innovations tailored to their operational needs. Thus, commercial vehicles are no longer viewed merely as conventional means of transportation, but rather as productive investments capable of accelerating the economy.
To prove this commitment, Isuzu showcased the Isuzu Giga FVR modified into a Road Sweeper, a collaboration with YMG Tech Mobility for heavy-duty needs. Additionally, there was also the Isuzu Elf NLR, transformed into a campervan unit in collaboration with Karoseri Delima Mandiri. This vehicle is used by travel content creator JAJAGO to demonstrate that commercial vehicles can also support the tourism industry and the digital creative economy.
Another innovation that attracted attention was the Isuzu Traga with a mobile Salon Studio concept, a collaboration with the beauty brand Putri from Paragon Corp and Karoseri Delima Mandiri to support the MSME sector. Meanwhile, for the tough double cabin segment, Isuzu presented the Isuzu D-Max with a multi-purpose concept, a collaboration with SANA, reliable for both off-road needs and daily urban mobility.
Not only showcasing the fleet, Isuzu's booth at GIIAS 2026 is also equipped with various interactive rides for visitors. Ranging from the Real Journey Game Simulator, the Isuzu Total Solution Support service demonstrating the efficiency of telematics technology, to an AI Photo Booth themed around world-class mechanics, and an interactive spare parts exhibition to provide a comprehensive experience for exhibition visitors.
